For some reason I’m showing hot cereal packaging two days in a row... caught my eye I guess.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure that kid is effing creepy as hell. And good luck fitting that shovel-size spoon into your mouth you little aryan bastard! But am I wrong for still loving this?

in fact, i can say with a fair amount of certainty, that it's the reason that i've never considered eating farina in my entire life. and i don't think i'm gonna change my mind.
Dan's right on the money; that scary-looking kid has turned me off to Farina as long as I can remember. I can't call the design good if it repels me from the product.

ReplyDeleteThe kid is too 60's-70's looking. Also, the top of his head looks like it is finished off with a couple wheat stalks. Awkward. I think a new design is needed. The closeup of the dish w/spoon is one of those, in your face things. Meh.
