These cascading signs in ramps to underground parking probably don’t have the same impact during the day, but when they’re lit up like this... compelling and oddly beautiful.

I think, actually, that those first signs would be incredibly hard to deal with... I would be confused as to what I had to read, and constantly distracted. It may look pretty, but I don't think it would function as such.
